Day before yesterday... my voice was disappearing but I kept going, teaching all day. Yesterday - I taught all day with zero voice, just whispering. In year 1 😬 so couldn't write instructions on the board or anything. Today I feel dreadful, fluey and still have zero voice

I couldn't phone in sick as I had 2 weeks off with a serious chest infection just after Easter.

Really worried I have permanently damaged my voice now! Any advice please?

No caffeine, no spice, no alcohol, nothing very hot or very cold, avoid dairy. Try pineapple juice.
And don't try to use it!

Thank you. My own children are testing me at the moment! Not talking is hard.
