What language are your schools opting for?

BSL, French, German, Spanish, other?

Really fed that this is a requirement. Its had enough to carve out enough time to teach english and Welsh really well without then trying to jump through hoops to provide meaningful and rich activities for the learning of a third language.

Yes I understand that. Thats why I think BSL is a good choice.
There was a pilot a few years ago where it was used to bridge between English and Welsh.
Other pilots have also shown BSL has a positive inpact on English spelling skills, math skills and understaning.

Develops dexterity, coordination and benefits the local community. Aids ESOL learners.
Also fosters inclusion for deaf children, children with additional needs, children with speech difficulties etc.

I feel that the other languages just create more work/stress, without the benefits.
