Hoping for some clarity. Currently in a primary , all class tas are cover supervisors but we have redundancy looming for 3rd year running but they also just told us that all the class cover supervisors , from September, will become teaching assistants because we don’t cover classes all the time and it’s not fair on others tas within our trust who do not get cover pay. Our pay will be protected until feb 2023. We cover ALOT, in lockdowns most days on our own. It feels like the biggest let down from a company who you have worked so hard for and at so much risk for such little pay anyway, now it will b3 even less but with naturally all the over expectations from us as usual.

They can consult on a restructure and give you all notice of the change, yes.
Sorry- I know that isn't what you wanted to head!

So same pay for less responsibility, for 2 years? Sounds annoying, but fine legally. If you want to do more, it's new job time.
