considering applying for a job teaching this level 2 and 3 in a sixth form college after teaching Science for years. Anyone have experience in this please that I could ask a few questions to?

Yes possibly! Ive taught it for 10 years ish.
Its not my 'subject' as such, I trained in a different subject and fell into H&S after teaching another btec more related to my subject.
My HoD is/was a science teacher and does the units that are most sciency!
I teach level 2 and 3 in a secondary school with 6th form...

I suggest having a Google, im not sure of the current entry route. I was offered the opportunity to teach it by my school. Its not the subject I trained in though.

yep, taught this at L2 and 3 in college.

Cohorts are very different to the science ones and the unit 3 at level 3 is huge. Enjoyed it thoroughly though.
