I'm sure I'm not the only one looking to leave this year. I have no idea how to write a resignation letter and want to give my notice before the Easter holidays. What should I put in the letter? Obviously I can't say what I really want to.
Is there a standard resignation letter I could adapt?
Thank you.

I’m leaving too!
I would keep it simple- tell them that you are resigning, state your last working date (august 31), thank them for how wonderful they have all been and wish them the best (even if you don’t mean it).

You don’t need to write a reason.

The one I've used has the line: "I'd like to thank you for all the support you've given me" but I can't

Thank you.
Imagine if we all wrote what we were really thinking...

I've only ever written one resignation letter (not teaching)!

Kept it very very simple and factual then cried when I handed it to my boss.

Mine (email) went:

Dear

This email is to give you notice of my intention to leave my employment at on .

Sincerely
