What to get as a thank you gift

I want to give a little something to DS's teachers who have been amazing during homeschooling to say thank you. In these covid times what could I send into school for them that would be appreciated or useful and that wouldn't be automatically binned for coming into school via reception. Any suggestions?

I think most teachers would appreciate anything at all! As a secondary teacher we never get given anything so even if a student hand makes me a card I love it! Maybe different in primary as I know they’re used to getting lovely Christmas gifts and things from their classes, my friend gets spa vouchers and all sorts! Xx

I usually get gin and sometimes shoes :)
My favourite gift was an own brand pot noodle. I think very fondly of that child - he is now a man with a child of his own.

The very best gift ever is an email to the head teacher with the specific staff you want to thank copied in. Clearly detail why you want to thank them - the more detail the better! This will make the head happy, put the teachers in the good books and the teachers will be able to use this as evidence in their annual performance reviews which could help them to move up the pay scale. I had an email like this today. It brought tears to my eyes and I haven't stopped smiling for about 3 hours. I even read it out to my mum on the phone. Proper heartfelt thanks really does mean so much - especially this year.
