Our SMT have decided that the mocks must not include questions on anything taught during lockdown or anything not specifically taught yet.
We had planned to give the students a past paper - as we have always done, and as I have always done in every school I have ever worked at over a long period of time. I have adapted a paper - so that the students cannot just look up the mark schemes for papers 2 and 3 when they see paper 1 (a past error!). The students know what they are going into and are prepared for it.
It is the only way I am happy about getting a reliable grade.
I have a meeting later today - please give me some valid arguments to persuade our SMT that our plan is OK.
