Interview questions AHT secondary

I have an interview on Monday for an AHT role. Got to get through the first day (data task, difficult convos role play and teaching a lesson) but I was hoping for some collective wisdom on what I might be asked at interview on day 2.
Assuming it's things like: what have you led/what went right or wrong/curriculum/staff etc but any pointers would be marvellous. I am keeping it quiet in case I don't get through the first day (the shame!) hence the need to ask. Have read the most recent Ofsted and digested it.

It's not for a specific area of responsibility (expansion of team rather than replacement) so really not sure what they will ask.
Thanks so much x x

I had those sorts of questions back in summer 2019. Mine was attached to a specific area of responsibility though (Head of Sixth Form) so there were quite a few questions specific to that. There’s also the “collective cabinet” question where you get asked how you’d deal with a situation where you felt that the Headteacher was making a poor decision.
As yours doesn’t have an area attached yet, I presume that some of the questions will be looking to find out what your areas of interest and strength are and how you might slot into the team. If it’s your current school you probably have a good idea of which members of SLT might be looking to hand off some of their responsibility, so I’d think about how you see yourself fitting in. If it’s a new school and you don’t know anyone who works there, I’d be looking on their website to see if you can get an idea of which member of SLT has taken on the responsibility for the COVID response and look at what their other responsibilities cover. They are the person most likely to be currently overburdened and looking to offload something. It might give you an idea of the possible areas that might end up being attached to the role and you can then make sure you’re ready to be asked about them. AHT jobs are sometimes advertised without a specific responsibility attached, but there is usually a shortlist of responsibilities in the mind of the HT that could be attached to the role.

That's really helpful, thank you. I didn't know about the collective cabinet one. Website isn't great; I couldn't even find who/how many SLT there are!
Remote learning also excellent tip.
Much appreciated👍🏻

It's a new school to me but very near to one I used to work in. So have some knowledge of it generally.

I also have an interview for head of Sixth AHT. Could I please ask they type of questions you got abs the tasks you were asked to complete. Thank you
