Hello everyone!
I started a job at a new school at the start of this term (Jan) and I have been really enjoying it so far- despite the fact that it's all been online! But I found out last week that they are going to be making some redundancies and they're currently asking for volunteers. After HT we'll be finding out if our department specifically needs to make any redundancies. Obviously, if they're working on 'last in first out' I'll be gone 
Like I say, I really like the school, and if I'm not going to be made redundant, then I want to stay there, but I got an email this week about another job opportunity from September this year. If it weren't for the redundancy issues, I wouldn't even have looked at it, but I'm concerned that I'll need a job!
The problem is that I don't think I'll know whether I'm being made redundant or not before the deadline for the other job, but equally I don't want to apply for the other job when I've only been in this one for a half term, and I don't actually want to leave necessarily.
I know this is really quite a niche issue, but if anyone has any advice at all it would be greatly appreciated!!
