Trainers to wear in secondary school

If Kamala Harris can wear a suit and Converse, what could I get away with in a secondary school with a smart dress code?
I really want to wear my suits with white trainers, do I just go for it?

Yes! Superga. jigsaw. Hobbs all do smart white trainers.
Timberland has a sale on too.

I looked at Superga earlier today! Any idea whether Superga or Converse are better for narrow feet?

You wouldn't get away with that in my school.

Superga are big fitting
I’d say converse narrower
timberland trainers are narrow.

You would not be allowed this where I am unless PE or given special dispensation from the head. We don't have a ridiculous dress code either.

I'm sen and wear jeans t-shirt and trainers (sorry!) But I don't really think that you could get away with this in a smart secondary school.

Have a look at this website though
vagabond.com/gb/

I've had some shoes from here and in the trainers section there are a fair few that are trainers but definitely don't look like them at all - I had I think the "cintia" shoe / boot and it honestly looked like a black boot but was actually trainers !

No, you would not get away with this

noblegiraffe · 13/02/2021 11:32

Not at my school. It was asked when we had to start moving rooms in September, response was no.

TheJackieWeaver · 14/02/2021 21:12

You wouldn’t get away with white trainers in my school either. A couple of my colleagues wear plain black trainers (or DMs?) but white trainers would be a definite no.
