Anyone using Google Mote on Classroom?

Seeing google mote mentioned a lot on Twitter and wonder if anyone has experience of using it?
Any feedback appreciated whether Primary or Secondary?

I've heard good things but I've been told by It we're not allowed to use add-ons.

We're using it in Primary - I saw it mentioned online and the HT loved it so the whole school is using it now. Some teachers love it. The children certainly do!

I like to mark with some background music and I type fast so it's not my first choice (despite being my suggestion!) but I can see why it works so well for some and it gives a voice to your comments.

Similar to MsJuniper - my class in Primary love having the individual feedback. I’m so pleased our Head recommended it as it has perked them up no end. I find I can add a more personal note and say something that hopefully makes them happier.

I'm using it in Reception - children and parents seem to like it, it feels more personal. It is definitely quicker than typing and much more direct for my children who can't read the written comments themselves. I also like it if I am leaving a note directed at the parent - much easier to convey encouragement and positivity to them with my voice rather than just type. Having said that, I don't use it all the time, depends what else is going on in the background. If I'm in a classroom full of keyworker children or at home with DH in the next room using his 'IMPORTANT BUSINESS CALL' voice which resonates round the house then I revert to typing....

Makes marking sooo much quicker. Kids like it too.
