Read Write Inc help!

I’ve started tutoring a little girl in Reception. I’m a qualified primary teacher and have lots of experience with phonics, but I don’t have much experience with RWI.

The girl is up to the 1.6 words and reads books in the green band. Could someone please make sense of what 1.6 includes? Thank you!

Have a look for Read, Write, inc green and red words on tes resources. The green word cards have been posted on there as a free powerpoint resource. The author has added numbers to their resource so easy to find up to 1.6 words and beyond.
