Interested to compare. Looking at secondary level. And which years feel particularly engaged and hard to reach?

I work in a fairly standard secondary school and engagement has actually been very good. We've had good attendance at online lessons and generally, students are completing the work.

Our pastoral team are very good though. We fill in the register for each lesson. If a pupil misses a lesson, even one, a member of pastoral ring home the following day (or even the same day!).

Top sets are at 100% and lovely. Bottom is at about 60%. Biggest issue is reaching EAL kids who do not have enough English to grasp the access instructions. We are a naice suburban comp.
