Call re job ad not returned

I left a message with an independent school Head's PA requesting a call back about a support job advertised.

Over a week on, I haven't heard back. Obviously it is an unprecedentedly busy time for schools but how would you feel about this?

I've had this recently too...with 2 different schools (1 private and 1 state).

Personally, I find it rude but I think schools are currently overwhelmed with so many things that replying to a potential candidate's phone call inquiry is last on their list!

I’d just give them another ring! I found a message in my jacket pocket to call someone back and I’d written the message 4 days earlier! I just completely forgot!
