I'm in a country where schools are in person still. I am isolating for two weeks, but am perfect healthy. I'll be teaching online but someone at school still has to cover; to be physically in the classroom with the kids, to do the register, monitor behaviour etc. And we all know that doing a cover uses up a free period completely, even if they're all engrossed in my fascinating online lesson... so im trying to think of things I can do for my faculty that pays them back a little for how many frees they're going to lose covering for me. No cover teachers or supply teachers here!
I've already got:
-marking work set via Google forms or classroom if they add me to it
-entering reports and data onto isams
-copying ppt quizzes and so on onto kahoot or Google forms so they mark themselves
-recording videos and voice overs for their lessons
Alongside the obvious of updating SoWs etc. Any other ideas? Vey grateful for any ideas!
