Google Classroom issue

Hi fellow teachers,
Like many of you, I'm teaching online using Google Classroom and I'm using my personal pc. The thing is, I have several gmail emails and the main one is not my school gmail. This means that everytime a student comments on something and I click on 'reply', Google tells me 'course not found', because it thinks I'm trying to access it via my private email, not the school email. This results in me having to choose another account, which is just a waste of time. Does anyone know how to make my school gmail account the 'main' one so that I don't have to take this unnecessary step?
I hope I've made sense- as you might have noticed, I am not very tech savvy. Thank you in advance!

If you go to "Manage accounts on this device", you can remove the other accounts and just leave the school one.

Then, if you still need to access the others, adding them after the school account should leave it as the main one.

Yes, I had that. Log out of all accounts, then log into the school one first. That puts it as your default. Log onto your others afterwards and it will be how you need it.

I've got around this on PC by signing in to Google using my school account - the circle at the far right of the Google search bar. Still causes me problems on my phone though.

The easy workaround is to use different browsers for different google accounts.

I have downloaded Firefox (works on both Mac & PC). You might use Google Chrome for your home google account and use Firefox for your work google account.

Hope that helps - Hugh
