Is this mad?

Our head (secondary) has just announced that for the next two weeks we will be teaching our normal timetables to students in class and at home at the same time. We will be moving classes each lesson.

I expect only a few students in school per class. Last time they were taught on a rota and work was set by year group so that staff could provide feedback to students, record lessons and answer questions in a more flexible time frame and from home.

We are in a tier 4 area.

I thought ours would make us do this. However, we have to go in, be confined to one classroom and live teach to our timetable. No idea how they are handling key worker children. I suspect support staff. We aren't being made to change rooms though, that's a bit mad.

I've planned nothing for it as everything seems to change. I'm just going in tomorrow and seeing what is announced in detail 🤷‍♀️

I believe this is what my school is doing. Us TA's will be present in class for supported students.
