Do teachers get paid on the last working day in December still (I.e today) or is it later on in the month? Thank you!

Depends on how you are normally paid and varies from school to school

In my school, before Covid, teachers were paid on the last school working day of the month. This usually meant early pay in July and December.

Then it changed.

We are now always paid on the 28th of the month. Unless it's a weekend or a Bank Holiday. Like it will be in December. In which case we will be paid on the Friday before I think.

So like pp said. It depends on the school you work in as to when you will get paid!

We were paid yesterday, usual pay date 25th.

We were paid yesterday but usually last working day of the month so it’s got a long way to stretch! 😬

We were paid yesterday. This has never happened to me before. It's a week early.

Last day of the month, not been told anything different for this month - I wonder if Brexit is playing a part?

I got paid yesterday too. LA school. Payday is always 19th of month, or Friday before if 19th falls on Sat or Sun.

Ours is early on the 23rd
