I've had the privilege of working with a group of young students from schools in Stoke-On-Trent on a project to raise the awareness of young peoples experience of loneliness and isolation and to explore their fears about moving to high school.
The students decided that they wanted to create a set of resources to help others and created the storyboards for three short animated films and wrote 3 songs. These have been transformed by animators and musicians into a beautiful set of resources to use for starting a conversation with Yr 5 -7 pupils around these issues.
The project was fully funded by #iwill and it is the students ambition for the films to be shared as widely as possible. I hope that you don't mind that I'm sharing a link to them here along with a downloadable resource pack. They are free to use if you like them.
