Hi there,

Dd is 8 and in year 4. Her report has been emailed and her grades are:

end of year target: EXP
Actual grade: EME

What does these grades mean please? No explanation in the report.

Thank you

I would imagine EXP stands for expected- so she is expected to be at the normal level by the end of the year. EME probably stands for emerging, so beginning to work within the year group expectations. Given we are only in November, that would seem to be right as they haven't covered the majority of the years curriculum so won't be assessed as having achieved them.
