How long to wait to hear after interview?

Had an interview on today, 6 candidates including me. Headteacher said we'd hear "in a few days". What would that mean to you? Wednesday? Thursday? I have another interview on Friday so hoping to hear from this one first!

I'd expect to hear by the end of the week, it would be rather mean to leave you hanging over the weekend.
