NQT/RQT Not going up an increment on the payscale

Should I involve the union?

I passed my NQT with flying colours! I’m in the same school but they refuse to put me on to RQT pay as I’ve not been there for 2 yrs.
Private SEN school but all cases come through LAs. Ofsted inspected.

I can’t see anything in my contract about 2yrs service.

You need to look at the school's pay policy, not your contract. The pay policy should set out the rules for salary progression.

Try your union - NUT is pushing for all staff eligible to go up the scale this year.
