I'm trying to decide whether to ask for an upgrade from the free Basic account to the Pro account. But there are two things I cannot find answers for:

How many players can play a game on Basic and Pro accounts?

I do not understand how groups and group members work.

Can anyone help?

I love Kahoot and have used it in my class for the last 4 years. Great for starters etc. I have never paid, just used the free account. It was really good during lockdown, my y6 loved playing it.
I wouldn't worry about paying for a pro account.
Get the free one, then if you want to upgrade you can probably do it easily and keep any data you have anyway.

I used it up to 100 kids by the way. I don't think there is even a limit... But worth checking.
