Just wondering how others are managing recorder lessons, or even flute/clarinet lessons. I teach these in groups as we don't use peripatetic teachers but struggling to do this with teacher distancing

I normally teach whole class recorders, but have decided not to this term. It's too risky right now and so am using chime bars to teach notation etc instead.

Yes, I feel it's too risky. I think I will look into using something like chimes. Thanks

Are you allowed to teach wind/brass instruments? Too much aerosol surely?

Percussion sounds safe enough, but you need to do enhanced cleaning if your instruments are shared with other classes.
