Knowledge - TA application form help

Hi there,

I am applying for a TA in a Secondary school (primarily providing SEN support). I've been working in a primary in the same capacity for a while.

The application form has got three main sections that need completing. I've done the Skills and Experience ones but the third is Knowledge and I'm stuck on that one.

Any tips on what to put there? I'm drawing a blank.

I'm a TA in primary as well, but I'd probably list any of the Inset training you've done (learning strategies, behaviour management etc). Also any subjects you have a special interest in (science, history, MFL). Do you, maybe, have IT skills that would be useful? Or you could relate it to your knowledge of school policies, current trends in Education etc. Not sure, really, but hope this helps, and good luck with the application and interview.
