(The parent is me)
Just wondered if any primary teachers could shed a light on what topics are covered under the year 6 PSE lessons?
Dc have missed theirs due to Covid, I know puberty was covered in Y5.

This is one that wil vary a lot between schools, so it's not really one we can answer for you.

Our Year 6s learnt about conception, pregnancy and birth in their RSE lessons, this last half term, using the Channel 4 living and growing dvds and Christopher Winter scheme. Plus did transitions/ coping with change/ friendships/ reviewing their time in Primary school etc in PSHE.

There’s plenty of information available for the new RSHE curriculum, which includes more topics than the old PSHE curriculum. Topics vary from school to school so it’s best to ask. Upper KS2 topics include transitioning to secondary school, puberty and drug awareness.
