AQA marking?

Has anyone heard from AQA about marking that might be taking place in November? I signed up to mark exams for the first time this year, which obviously hasn't happened! I passed their checks but didn't get onto the training/practice sessions, so would need to do this beforehand. When might I expect to hear from them about potentially marking the November retakes? Or are they unlikely to be taking new people on before the summer?

I'd imagine they're hoping on low take up. I marked for the first time last year and it went very very well and I had an excellent report from my Team Leader (which was really reassuring given how long I've been teaching). I haven't heard. Results day is going to be very interesting this year.

I'm with AQA and haven't heard anything yet.

Although I wouldn't hold your breath as they will use experienced examiners over new, almost definitely.

I was asked to confirm interest for the autumn serids a couple of weeks ago. Ive been with AQA for a few years though.
