Form assemblies?

My secondary school are planning “form celebration assemblies” in the last days of term. Every year group gets to use a different big indoor space around the school through which they will be rotating the forms for their socially distanced assembly. We normally have parents there, too, although that hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Surely this is against government and DfE guidance? I’d like to hear your thoughts before I kick up a fuss in school, please!

To clarify, you mean that:
Eg in the main hall is Y7's allocates area. Each form comes in for an amount of time, sits SD, possibly with parents also if room, and does a celebration of the year, awards etc. Then the next form.
Presumably without time to clean in between?

If that's right, YANBU to be concerned!

This is certainly what it sounded like!
I am waiting for a few more details, but it just doesn’t sit right with me. I want to see my form, but I thought we were looking at 1-2-1 meetings before the summer and not mass gatherings!
If my dc’s school were planning this I wouldn’t let my own kids go.

Does sound a little odd, maybe wait a little longer to get details otherwise ask them
