Volunteering in school

I’ve been volunteering at a primary school for over a year, I had to stop when lockdown started.

Are your schools allowing volunteers back or is this going to be banned for the foreseeable future?

I don’t want to contact the headteacher as I’m sure she’s really busy and has enough on her plate!

Our schools are not letting any visitors in. Governors have been asked to keep away and carry on doing virtual meetings.

We are not letting any volunteers in at the primary school I'm at, all meetings are online with governors. At the secondary no teachers are in at all as school has been fully online and again meetings are all online between staff and governors.

No parents or volunteers allowed at my daughters' school and I know no families at my own school are allowed in either. So I assume we have the same rule for volunteers too. Both schools' offices will also be closed to the outside!
