Hi. Colleague has a new job as a teaching assistant in September in a primary school. Please can you recommend a book we could give her as a leaving gift from her own job. Is there a non Yorkshire Gervais Finn? Is Rob Plevin or Sue Cowley too teacher orientated?

Any recommendations of a light or fun read for a new Teaching Assistant would be v. much recommended.

Jo

I wouldn’t want a CPD book, I’d want a beautiful planner. These are expensive, so I would never by one for myself: []thepositiveteachercompany.co.uk/]]

I would also really, really like a nice big travel mug that doesn’t drip, a nice big water bottle and a beautiful pencil case (make up bags work really well as pencil cases!).

As a fun book maybe something along the lines of Hurrah for gin?
