Returning to school question

Both my children are due to return to school in June, one of them has broken a bone in her foot and is now in a boot and on crutches.
Just wondering if your school would allow a year 1 child to return in these circumstances. Wondering if I need to prepare my boss that I might not be able to return to work.

School would need to do a risk assessment. It would probably depend on the school set up and how she would exit the building in the case of a fire etc.

Also depends if they require assistance.
