When schools open, are all staff at your school going to be in? Or just those in Rec, Year 1 and Year 2? Have you been asked or just told? Also what about part time staff?

All staff in school other than shielding staff, everybody working their normal days/hours. One form entry school so staff have been redeployed to cover R, 1 and 6 in bubbles. All year groups still setting online work for those not in school in the same format as before 1st June.

Great thanks. Similar to what is happening at my school .

Only those staff who have to be will be allowed on site. This will increase as numbers increase.

We are asking those who don't have a year group that is opening to work from home so we reduce the risk of having all staff in. Those staff will be responsible for taking over the online learning of R/1 and 6 as those staff will be in teaching.

We are going back for alternate weeks, for 6 weeks only. Atm. Only N, R, 1 and 6 staff are in, with support in each bubble. The bubbles are no more than 10, parents had to say yes or no to the whole term. Weeks off will be consolidation work set by teachers. If at home it will be as current for those yr groups (low key, nothing recorded) The part time thing was clear parent preference in surveys.

So, I'm not in. It feels weird. I said that to my head, who said it's not fair but it's equal. Ie, we're all doing what we are contracted to do according to gov guidance. We have teaching staff for the other year groups to come in on the same basis, but nowhere near the support staff, and year 3 and 4 are where our heavy support is needed.

All in, on a rota, the same as since lockdown started but with increased days.

funmummy48 · 28/05/2020 09:34

We’re all in, apart from those who are vulnerable or shielding. We’ve been allocated to our bubbles on the 3 days a week those children are in but on the other days, will be tidying/cleaning/marking work from the children still at home.

All in but PPA from home. I'm PT and in 2 different bubbles depending on the day, neither of them my year group. Still setting online work for my class at home.

Hibbetyhob · 28/05/2020 13:52

All in because we’re all needed to cover bubbles and that’s without y6 being in too. One teacher responsible for homelearning across the school.

How are they going to get the other kids back to school as Nick Gibb wants? It's impossible, there aren't the staff or classrooms in the country.
