Maternity Leave Schools

Hi! So I work in a school (non-teacher) but am unsure of when I can start my maternity leave. Does it have to be a date during the school term or can I request a date in the school holidays?

You can request any date you’d like - up to and including your due due date. You can also put the first day of a holiday down as your return to work date, so that you get paid over the holidays (I think this would also work if you are pud term time only, as long as the payments are spread over the 12 months)
