I've been away from MN recently, so I have missed out on seeing the origins of and its use on teacher-badhing threads. I have enjoyed the way it is being used - similar to in making a point without getting dragged into silly arguments.

But I would love to hear how it started.

You have to refer to my original thread where I called for a boycott of all education outside of education especially for union members. We are constantly have to explain our employment ts and cs, explain why we can’t do something because of safeguarding etc etc

Some felt a boycott was extreme and thought flowers would be better.
