RaraRachael · 01/05/2020 15:52

Never had one in 38 years of teaching! Grin

Bearnecessity · 01/05/2020 18:02

You must have had one otherwise how do you assess its value for insurance purposes?

'The office' (primary). Teachers are asked to check specific things in their classroom like CD players (sounds so old fashioned!).

HaveAtEm · 01/05/2020 21:32

We get a form given to us that lists everything that needs to be checked off...we just have to check things, then send it back to the office. Takes about 10 minutes. I think the bigger stuff/things not in classrooms gets done by the site manager 🤷‍♀️

Thank you everyone.

Oh that takes me back to being asked to do the 'invent-ory' for our school once. That was 20 years ago.

No idea who or how it's done now, but I imagine it's a but more high tech than the pink book and me writing down the number of tables and chairs per classroom. :)

PenOrPencil · 09/05/2020 21:02

No idea! Definitely not teaching staff.

Bearnecessity · 09/05/2020 22:00

No high tech sadly, paper and pen.
