Been at a school my whole career. Moved last Sept to bigger and better school and higher tlr. Doing my npqml etc.
But.
I'm not happy. Not really. I'm worried about lockdown.ending cos I'm enjoying not having to go back. Management great, but kids are not and I'm sick of antagonism every day.
40 mins away, which, where I live, is quite unusual. And makes for v early starts for my own.kids.
Job has come up 20 mins away. No tlr. Now, do I stick it out and hope next year is better? Or do I back track and just teach and apply for this one? Been at it 20 years and still can't decide if I want to be hod or not. Seen too many burn out (core subject).
But would I be just as busy and then.just pissed off at not having any control? Been.in.various roles for 15 years. I know bank holiday isn't the right time, but all.days are the same at the moment.
