Social Distancing in Primary

Just would like to know if there has been any guidance about this for Primary? Seems our school - none, just lots of washing hands. Other local Primary schools are making sure children are sitting apart, and have packs for each with pencils etc in.

Surely as children of key workers, our aim is to ensure no one gets infected otherwise theynwill be taking time off to care for their children?

So much confusion at the moment. Even seen pics on facebook of staff having a group high 5 at the end of a successful day

I haven't seen government guidance. We are: Standing at least 2m away in lines (stickers on the floor) not coming to get resources if someone else is there. Each child has a named lidded box with their stationery in, No games involving passing stuff or touching each other. Washing hands at every change of activity. Lots of activities where they have to sit on their own spot on the floor, which then folds and goes in their box.

It's very draining with 25 children from age 5 to 11. Virtual high fives only. We are doing our best!

What about playtimes though? You can keep them 2m apart in class but then they go outside and it all goes out of the window.

Same at playtimes - all the adults out at breaks to police it. To be fair, the children get how serious it is and are doing their absolute best to remind each other.
