To everyone who is having to go into a school next week...THANK YOU. You are doing an amazing job looking after our most vulnerable children and so that key workers can keep our country going.
School staff are amazing all of the time but it is rarely recognised... you work incredibly hard and care about children and families. There wouldn't be doctors, nurses, police etc etc if they hadn't been taught by a teacher and gone to school.
You are putting your life, and that if your families, at risk when you go into school in the next few months and everyone must appreciate that.
Please look after yourselves and know that there are many people who do not have children or have kept their children at home who appreciate everything you are doing at this incredibly challenging time.
I know there are many other people who are going to work to look after people and support our country and l thank you too.
