So lovely teaching colleagues, I’d like to touch base with my reception children weekly while schools are closed and I think the best way to do this is video link. My technological know how is not fabulous so what is the best free platform to do this on and is there any privacy/ child protection issues I need to be aware of. Would obviously make it a stipulation that parent needed to be in the room through out and that appointments were made. Any ideas?

Class Dojo is your friend! Google it, it's great. You can add attachments, record small video clips for teaching input, attach documents and message parents. You can also give them dojo points when they share their home learning with you. Parents have to log in and no one else can see your page. Parents cannot download the videos (safeguarding you) and you can decide yourself when you will be available on line.
