Reception admissions for September?

I work in school admin. Anyone have a clue what's going to happen with school place acceptance and reallocation for September, now that schools will all be shut when offers are sent out? We've had no communication from our LA yet about contingency plans.

Schools won’t be ‘shut’, we will be open for all the categories of children listed in the statement, which is some schools (like mine) will be a significant number of pupils. The school offices will have to remain open.

Maybe. Boris has already said that there will be 'rationalisation' and that not all schools will be open.

Sorry, wasn't meaning to dismiss what you said, and you may be right - but I'm just thinking about how they're going to ensure it still happens fairly and accurately. Maybe appeals assessed by paper only could be one step?
