Small primary, 10/18 staff off most with corona symptoms. Genuinely poorly and very unwell but none have been tested as they've not knowingly been in contact with people from danger areas.
This leaves 2 teachers for 7 classes. Today level 2 tas have been covering classes.
How does anyone see this planning out as we go into next week?

This is where I think school closures will start to happen regardless of government decisions.
At what point does it become unsafe when you don’t have enough staff to take care of the children ?

Exactly. I realise it causes all manner of problems for parents but it feels that the govt is working on nonsense data and it is an unavoidable step for everyone's safety.

NASUWT say to contact them if the suggestion is that teachers should teach doubled up classes.
