Anyone any experience of doing CIE MFL speaking exams (long shot)

I am a qualified MFL teacher and have a small gig doing a few speaking exams, mostly AQA (no worries) but one is Cambridge iGCSE. The spec is fine, but I am a bit dismayed to see that I have to mark it on the day and without listening to the recording.

Has anyone done this? Is it feasible? Do you in fact have a quick listen to the recording to check your mark? Have you ever had any queries on your marking?

Sorry for all the questions - my experience of marking speaking tests is of old-school AQA where we would listen over and over, mark it then moderate amongst peer teachers. Then the new-style is all sent away to mark (tho I would listen to it to assess an approximate mark to the students). Thanks in advance if you can give me any encouragement!
