Hi all, need your advice and expertise!

My maternity leave contract is up at the end of March, and they've already told me they can't keep me on. I've registered with a few supply agencies, but was wondering if anyone had experience of supply?

I'm a secondary RS specialist, and have been told that getting supply work would be pretty easy!

Also if anyone has any agency recommendations in the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire area, let me know!

I'm not in your area but I did supply and enjoyed it. I preferred short term supply when you turn up, get given the work and leave.
I found long term supply I felt I was doing the job of a normal classroom teacher but everyone called me the supply and no one made much effort with me!
I was paid the same amount for short or long term supply which was ridiculous, when I left the long term supply position they offered more money, so if you do long term supply don't be afraid to ask for more money!!!
