changing from teacher to TA in the same school...

anyone done it? obviously a pay cut but any other pros or cons? seriously considering it..........

I wouldn't. You'll be used as a teacher on a TA's pay.

You'll end up being used as an in house supply teacher. Pulled from your TA roll to cover for teachers more often than you would like, quite possibly with only TA pay.

You will also be given the most challenging children to support. That may be good or bad depending on how you feel

How would you feel about being a TA in a classroom where you were previously an equal colleague to the teacher?
