Extra duties and rewards

My comp doesn't have the cash to pay for lunch duties and we definitely need more staffing out and about.

Do any of you volunteer for duty at lunch and do your school reward you in different ways other than extra money in your pay packet?

We used to get a free school lunch, but they binned staff lunch duties a while back.

We get a free dinner every day for doing one 1/2hr duty a week

I get a free dinner if I do lunch duty

I get paid. We used to get paid and a free lunch. I wouldn’t do it for a free lunch only- I think it’s important that teachers and schools acknowledge that the cuts to funding will result in cuts to service, and not to work themselves into the ground trying to salvage the situation, or it will never improve.
