Well, there might be a few.
One in particular will literally step over me to get what she wants, very very politely undermines me, changes things to suit herself, has such a manner that screams arrogance but I wonder if it's insecurities?? Very full of confidence in her usual surroundings. Awkward out of her comfort zone. Ideally I'd like to report her behaviour to the boss but I don't think I can. I think it will be seen as being petty and although I trust our boss to deal with it, I don't know how he will view the news.
I feel invisible in the staff room- until I speak, I am not ignored, but until then, a few of them will just not include me in conversation. Very frosty. This relates to 3 members of staff, who, alone, are very nice, but together, and to definitely include the one I've mentioned, almost thrive on making someone feel awkward.
How do I deal with this? I was part time for 1 year in a different department then moved to this dept when I went full time 8 months ago. Previous to that I have never come across this behaviour so not sure how to deal with it.
TIA
