Hearing back from a new school

Hi all,

hoping for some advice. I'm waiting to hear back from a school, closing date was Thursday.
How long do I continue to wait? How do most schools contact applicants, email, phone call or letter?

I would have thought you would have heard by now but why not give them a ring to enquire?

You won't hear back as a general rule. It's rude but that's their way!

Did the advert say when interviews were scheduled?

Typically by email, sometimes by phone. First choices emailed first and called to interview. Often the rest or some of the rest are put in the e maybe pile depending on the outcome of the first batch of interviews.

I would email and see what they say. Being keen is always good.

Thanks for advice, I phoned today and they aren't shortlisting untill the end of the week. Guess I'll have to be patient for a little longer!
