I am planning on handing my 1 month notice in at the end of the month.

Which will take me to the end of december to start a new job when the school reopens in January

Is there a way of working out if I will lose any pay from my December pay? I know I am paid each month but term time only

You should get normal December pay I believe, but check your contract as I'm guessing you're support staff and support staff contracts can vary LA to LA, MAT to MAT.

My contract just says 1 month, but my salary is the usual pro rata split in too 12 equal instalments

Would I have worked enough days too not lose any money, does the summer holiday pay count or would I need to earn more days

Pay year should be from 1st September, you need to check. You will accrue holiday pay from that date. There are 3 weeks holiday that you would have had half term and Christmas therefore it is very likely that you will not get a full pay in your last month at school. The school business manager is the person to speak to find out the exact salary.

I agree with Suffolk. Business manager would be your best call.
When I was support staff I started mid year so may have been given had slightly different advice to reflect the unusual timings.
