Reference when your manager has left school

I was at my last job for 2 years and my school deputy and headteacher have since left. I’m not in touch with any of them so who do I put as a reference? It needs to be from my last school but they’ve all left.

Is the business manager the same? They might be able to put you in touch. Following with interest as I'm taking two years out and sure my old senior leadership team will be different when I go back into teaching.

We didn’t have a business manager, it’s a one-form entry church school so small amount of staff. I really have no idea.

Email the new Head and explain. You have to give most recent Head so any relevant safeguarding info can be passed on. Presumably that is still available to them.

That’s a good idea.
