Struggling to know where to start in terms of assessing children's progress and also planning - due to start a new job next week! anyone able to offer any advice? Thanks in advance xx

Are you the teacher? If not, speak to the person who is-there will probably be procedures already in place.

I would just do what you would normally do in any nursery setting. You’re not an NQT, are you?

Have a look at some of the EYFS FB groups-they have some brilliant advice on.

Get to know them, assess against the framework and plan from there.

Hi no I'm not NQT I'm primary trained (mainly ks1 and lower ks2 experience) but coming back after extended maternity leave
